Grad Project - Beacon Lighthouse
For my final year project I made a shooting miniature for film, it is a model lighthouse on top of a cliff at a 1:78 scale. Once it is photographed or filmed, it should look like a full scale lighthouse from the point of view of the camera.
To show that my model is fit for purpose I filmed and edited a title sequence featuring my lighthouse called “The Beacon”

I took these photos with a blue screen background behind the model, I imported the photos into photoshop, applied appropriate lighting and added a sky. This demonstrates that when photographed my model can look real.
